A former garage site in Stafford that’s been cleared for work to begin on the construction of a new home has been snapped up by a local developer.

Planning permission has been granted for a three-bedroom bungalow to be built at the Kingcup Road site, which extends to 0.146 acres (0.059 hectares) in a residential suburb of the town.

Offers in the region of £75,000 had been invited by Towler Shaw Roberts for the site situated close to several schools and nearby shops.

TSR’s Martin Zaki, responsible for the sale, said: “The site at Kingcup Road represents an attractive residential development opportunity in Stafford.

“It has now been cleared to enable building work for the construction of a new property to begin.

“Well located former garage sites of this type continue to stimulate good levels of interest from developers.”

The site sold by TSR is close to the A449, which connects to junction 13 of the M6 motorway.
