A new wine bar has opened in attractive premises in the heart of Shrewsbury town centre.

St Vincent, which also serves food and has its own wine shop, is prominently located at 11A Fish Street, with the letting handled by Towler Shaw Roberts.

Alexis Hill, the owner of St Vincent, has worked in hospitality in Shrewsbury for approaching 20 years and is excited to launch his new venture.

He said: “It’s a great location, a great space and provides great flexibility over two floors.

“Our restaurant serves a selection of small plates, encouraging sharing food, with cuisine from all over the world.

“We also have a retail space, a shop area, with about 250 wines in stock.”

St Vincent is also creating new jobs in Shrewsbury, with Alexis adding: “We’ll ultimately be taking on about 15 people, so that’s great as well, providing jobs for the local community.”

Arranged over two floors with a glazed frontage and a charming external seating area, the new home of St Vincent occupies a highly sought-after location.

With a total internal floor area of 3,416 sq ft, the premises have been fully refurbished and upgraded to provide a stylishly presented restaurant with approximately 90 covers to the main ground floor seating area.

The property includes a bar and open plan commercial kitchen and preparation area, with a separate function room on the first floor.
