Acting for the owner of a commercial premises in Shrewsbury Town centre, TSR undertook investigation work to advise on the best methods of repair to a large flat roof which had been suffering from sustained water leaks.

Our inspection identified the cause of the defects, proposed various options to repair the flat roof coverings but also advised upon statutory compliance issues and the likely impact of forthcoming energy efficiency legislation.

Consequently our client was able to instruct works rectify the roof leaks and improved the thermal performance to the roof coverings to ensure the building would meet MEES Regulations 2018.
