A local investment company has acquired a former sheltered housing development site in the popular South Staffordshire village of Kinver.

The site at Mill House, Mill Lane is located on the banks of the River Stour and canal, with Kinver Edge, a local beauty spot, nearby.

Offering scope for a wide variety of conversion and development opportunities in an attractive setting, the property generated a high level of interest.

Acting on behalf of Housing Plus Group, offers in the region of £1.25 million were invited by Towler Shaw Roberts, with the property sold for in excess of the asking price.

The overall site area extends to 1.8 acres (0.72 hectares), with Mill House, a detached purpose-built sheltered housing development, arranged over two floors.

It features a range of studio and one-bedroom apartments, as well as a three-bedroom property, which was the warden’s house, at the front of the site.
