Hangar 4 at the former RAF Peplow airfield on the edge of Eaton upon Tern – 10 miles north of Telford and nine miles south of Market Drayton – extends to 29,152 sq ft on a total site area of 3.1 acres.

The former T2 aircraft hangar, which provides versatile clear span accommodation, has an internal eaves height of nine metres.

The rural property includes sliding loading doors and large external loading/secure service yard areas, as well as a generous grassed area.

Toby Shaw, who handled the sale for TSR, commented: “This is a substantial property which stimulated considerable interest with over 50 separate viewings taking place resulting in best and final offers being invited and with the property being sold to a local private investor well in excess of the asking price of £325,000.

The property is accessed via a shared service road leading from the main road serving the popular village of Eaton upon Tern.
