A new used car dealership is to open early next month at a prominent vehicle sales forecourt in Shrewsbury.
DT Trading Affordable Cars has completed the letting of the former Waverley Garage site at Featherbed Lane.
The site, an open sales forecourt which extends in to 0.05 acres, can accommodate approximately 15 cars.
Doru-Marian Craiu, the owner of DT Trading Affordable Cars, said: “It is going to be a new business, but I have been dealing with trading cars for more than 20 years when I was also working full time in another occupation.
“Now I want to take the business to the next level and create a business with affordable cars for the public and to help the community as well.
“I’m in the process of setting up the site and buying a mobile office, so I’m looking to open at the beginning of October.
“Lots of customers are already used to coming to this area of Shrewsbury when they are looking to buy cars, so the location is a really good spot.”
Toby Shaw, who handled the letting for Towler Shaw Roberts, said: “The site occupies a prominent roadside location fronting Featherbed Lane in the heart of Shrewsbury’s main commercial and industrial area.
“It’s very well situated in an area of established car dealerships, so that only be beneficial to this new business.
“We are pleased to have completed a letting to Doru-Marian Craiu and wish him every success.”
