The original Partners, Jon Towler and Toby Shaw, resigned from the Firms of GA Property Services and Keith Cardale Groves respectively and set up their own independent Practice in Shrewsbury in January 1991 originally as Towler Shaw Chartered Surveyors and latterly as Towler Shaw Roberts from 1996, following the expansion of the Practice to Wolverhampton and the addition of Ian Roberts to the Partnership.
Established since 1991, the Shrewsbury Office includes a Chartered Surveyor Partner, a Chartered Surveyor and Head of Asset Management together with Accounts and Secretarial staff.

TOBY SHAW, BSc MRICS, Partner Toby qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1986 and has specialised in all aspects of commercial and industrial property matters for the last fifteen years. He was formerly a Surveyor with Hall Wateridge & Owen in Shrewsbury and subsequently headed the GA Property Services (Commercial Division) and the Keith Cardale Groves operation in Shrewsbury until 1990. |

JAMES HARRISON, BSc (Hons) MRICS, Head of Asset Management Services James specialises in Asset Management Services for commercial property, including professional, investment agency and estate management in all sectors. Since qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1991 with Weatherall Green & Smith in London, James has worked mainly in the North West initially with Mason Own & Partners, where he was promoted to Associate Partner and managed property throughout the UK, including the West Midlands. In 1999, James moved on to King Sturge in Manchester where as Associate Partner he was responsible for managing a mixed portfolio of high value properties including a portfolio of shopping centres and retail parks. James was appointed Head of Asset Management Services at CB Hillier Parker's Manchester office in 2001, covering the North of England and managed and grew that business prior to the merger with iRE in July 2003. Since then James managed a contract, which he helped secure in May 2003 providing estate management services to Manchester Airport. James joined Towler Shaw Roberts in February 2005. |

Sarah Pocock, BSc (Hons), Assistant Surveyor Asset Management Services Sarah joined the Shrewsbury office of TSR in November 2007 as Assistant Surveyor working with the Asset Management Services team from Miller Evans as a Country Property Valuer. She graduated from the University of Reading with a degree in Estate Management and is currently a student member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, currently enrolled on their Assessment of Professional Competencies programme. |
