Formula 1 Themed Open Day – Vanguard Trade Park, Shrewsbury
September 19, 2013
Towler Shaw Roberts have recently organised a promotional event on behalf of clients and developers Morris Property in connection with the latest and 5th phase of the hugely popular Vanguard Trade Park, Shrewsbury. This marked the opening of a further 23,500 sqft of new trade counter premises, which brings the total size of the estate to 118,000 sqft and adds an additional 9 units that have been developed on spec rather than for a specific business’s needs which few other developers have the confidence to progress within today’s marketplace.
The event that was well attended by around 70 property experts from across the region included a number of agents as well as other property advisors and prospective end-user occupiers. TSR have already agreed terms for two units within this phase, with Shukers expected to take occupation by the end of July for their Subaru and Land Rover dealerships. TSR had arranged for one of the untis to be fitted out in a Formula One theme, with the event being held on the Friday prior to the British Grand Prix. The unit was kitted out with 2 Formula One simulators, large 6 lane scalextric track, vintage rally car and various screens showcasing recent Grand Prix’s. Through Shukers TSR had also arranged for guided tours of the Vanguard Trade Park via 2 new Range Rover vehicles.
Iain Mills of TSR commented ‘the event was extremely well attended with a number of agents acting on behalf of clients in attendance as well as a mix of local business professionals and owners. We are in talks with 2 parties who attended the event interested in premises within this phase and we expect to announce further transactions to follow on from the recent deal to Shukers’.
Morris Property retain additional land within the Vanguard Trade Park suitable for further phases of the Trade Park with the planning permission also permitting vehicle showrooms/repair centres as well as for warehousing/storage and distribution facilities.
