Towler Shaw Roberts LLP is seeking to recruit a Property Accounts Assistant to work in the busy Asset Management Department of our Shrewsbury Office.   Working with the team the post holder will need to have excellent communication skills and relevant IT skills.  Experience of working in property would be an advantage but a willingness to learn new skills is essential.

Role – Accounts and credit control assistant in the Asset Management Team based in Shrewsbury

Tasks to include

  • Assisting with the general administration of the Property Management functions with specific responsibilities for assisting with credit control and purchase ledger
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries
  • Using various MS computer packages and Propman (training will be given)
  • Preparing and distributing papers and documents
  • Maintaining filing systems
  • Photocopying and printing


Person specification

  • Good organisation skills
  • Good time management
  • Good communications skills, written and verbal
  • Able to work in a team
  • Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to do list
  • Confidence with IT and computer packages
  • Accuracy and good attention to detail
  • An ability to stay calm and tactful under pressure
  • Self-motivated
  • A bright and positive attitude

Part-time – Flexible hours and days up to 20 hours a week

Start Date  – As soon as possible
