Abbey Lawn Office Park – Marketing Event and Management Seminar

On behalf of retained client’s Morris property, landlords of the established and well known office Park in Shrewsbury –  Abbey Lawn, Towler Shaw Roberts recently arranged for a CPD Management seminar with guest speaker, former county cricketer and current Shropshire County Cricket Club coach, Kevin Sharp.

Kevin who played for Yorkshire at County level for 14 years and was employed until 2011 as their specialist batting coach for the first team with England batsmen Joe Root stating in a recent interview, the hugely positive influence Kevin had on his early career and development.

Whilst continuing his involvement in cricket as a coach, Kevin qualified as a Neuro Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner and set up and ran his own business ‘Inspire and Excel’ with a fellow director.  Their combined aims being of assisting individuals and teams in both sport and business reach their true potential, through a range of methods and models that create an understanding of thought process and behaviour.

Abbey Lawn which is owned and managed by Morris Property provides a range of high quality office suites from 1,000 sqft upwards and is excellently located, being close to the Town Centre retail amenities, bus and railway stations but also only a 5 minute drive from the main A5 and M54 motorway.

The office park has attracted many well known local and regional firms as tenants since its creation in early 2000 and continues to remain even in these austere times as one of the most sought after business locations for professional companies in Shrewsbury, through the quality of the accommodation on offer, the surrounding retail, restaurant and other type of leisure outlet (so keeping the staff happy) and the active asset management of the site by Morris’s, which has included the recent refurbishment of various available suites.

The Management seminar was extremely well attended by approximately 60 local professionals with drinks and refreshments provided afterwards by Morris’s.  Attendees took the time to inspect the various suites currently available and commented on the quality of the accommodation on the site and seminar talk by Kevin.
