About us
Towler Shaw Roberts LLP is a firm of Chartered Surveyors established in 1991 specialising in all types of commercial property and provides a wide regional coverage coupled with local expertise. Our three strategically located offices in Shropshire and the West Midlands enable us to always be fully aware of current property market conditions throughout the area.
On 16th November 2006, Bussey Plant Commercial (BPC) was incorporated into TSR, enabling BPC to add a significantly increased range of services for its Clients and representing the continuing development of the business of TSR. Philip Plant of BPC acts as a Consultant to TSR, bringing with him almost thirty years of experience in the Wolverhampton and West Midlands market and almost forty years of expertise in the field of Valuation and Landlord and Tenant.
We deliver a first class comprehensive professional service to our Clients with Partner level contact throughout all instructions, large or small. We have a high degree of experience including the more technical and complex aspects of the commercial property world.
Towler Shaw Roberts have been winners of the Estate Gazette (EGi) award for Most Active Regional Agent for Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire & Shropshire in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 and were winners of Most Active Regional Agent for the West Midlands in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and again in 2007.
The Practice converted to a Limited Liability Partnership with effect from 5th April 2004.
Practice Information
Geographical Coverage
The Practice operates throughout the whole of Shropshire, the West Midlands and South Staffordshire together with South Cheshire, North Herefordshire, Mid/North Wales and North Worcestershire.
Professional Experience
Our Surveyors have a comprehensive knowledge and expertise in relation to all types of retail, office, commercial and industrial property and also have experience in the valuation and disposal of certain specialist types of commercial property, such as garages/petrol stations, hotels, public houses, restaurants, nursing homes/residential care homes and doctors surgeries etc.
Quality Control
All valuation work undertaken strictly adheres to the best practice requirements of the RICS Appraisal and Valuation Manual (Red Book) as it relates to the various types of valuation requirement.
No valuation report is released without ensuring thorough compliance with the aforementioned Manual and extensive research in relation to comparable property transactions and other relative matters. The Report contents and all figures included therein are discussed and checked with at least one other Chartered Surveyor in the Practice.
Professional Indemnity Insurance
The Practice has existing Professional Indemnity Insurance cover of £5.0 million any one claim.
